Read an interesting comment in Verne Harnish’s newsletter regarding military research on the effectiveness of “hunches.” Studies show that soldiers who adopt and “predator” mindset rather than a “prey” mindset are less anxious and have more “hunches” and avoid danger more effectively. Anxiety drives fear and your ability to see opportunities.
Taking this into the business world, taking a “predatory” mindset or a “proactive” attitude reduces your anxiety and fear driven behaviors. You see opportunities more readily and can act on them to succeed.
This caught my attention.
What do you think?
