Been learning about the process of getting LEAN. This is the name of Toyota’s methods of continuous improvement in everything they do. Basically, it’s a process of eliminating waste in your company. Not cutting heads, mind you, but examining all the business processes in place and eliminating anything in the process that doesn’t add value to your customers, things that customers won’t pay extra for.

It’s basically a process, that involves your people. Flow charts out the workflows. Identifies the bottlenecks, where things stack up, and then re-engineers out the obstacles. Ends up freeing up you staff to be more productive on the things that add value to your customers.
