My last post emphasized the importance of attitude in starting your recovery. It starts when you decide it starts. My client broadly proclaimed at his Inner Circle Meeting that “The Recovery Started on Monday,” implying that it’s time to get over all the bad news and start doing something about it. It’s time, at least at his company, to get going on doing something about it, responding rather than reacting.

But attitude alone isn’t going to cut it either. Attitude without a plan means going around half cocked hoping something will work. Attitude with a plan translates into execution. Your plan has to tie your strengths to the opportunities. The opportunities are there if you’re flexible.

Planning without attitude means poor execution.

Get the plan together. Strap on some attitude and your recovery will start tomorrow!
