Read this article from Inc about “Eight Deadly Ways to Kill Employee Motivation” from Inc. which I would prefer to call “Eight Obstacles To Growth.”

When you eliminate these obstacles, you unleash growth. I prefer my title to the original, because somehow I believe when you think of something as an obstacle, you’ll work to remove it or go around it.

These obstacles creep into organizations almost without notice and require constant vigilance and effort to overcome.

Thing is, usually you can’t see them for yourself. Need an outside observer. A coach.

Much of what I do as a coach is eliminate these obstacles for my clients.
